Introducing the New BMW F 450 RR

BMW Motorrad is expanding its supersport lineup with the introduction of the new BMW F 450 RR. Inspired by the S 1000 RR, the F 450 RR brings BMW’s signature supersport design and performance to a lighter, more accessible motorcycle.

With 48 hp, a ready-to-ride weight of just 177 kg, and a starting MSRP of $9,645 CAD, the new F 450 RR offers an exciting entry into the BMW RR family.

The BMW F 450 RR takes its design inspiration from the S 1000 RR, featuring an aggressive front end, aerodynamic winglets and distinctive LED lighting.

At its heart is a 420 cc parallel-twin engine producing 48 hp and 43 Nm of torque. With 80% of its torque available from just 3,000 rpm, the F 450 RR delivers responsive performance for both winding roads and everyday riding.

Its lightweight construction and supersport-specific chassis geometry provide precise handling, while the M Sport suspension adds adjustability for riders looking to take their experience further.

Despite its sporty character, the F 450 RR includes features designed to make everyday riding more enjoyable.

Standard equipment includes:

• Rain, Road and Race riding modes
• BMW Motorrad ABS Pro and Dynamic Traction Control
• Heated grips
• 6.5-inch TFT display with connectivity
• LED lighting and USB-C charging port
• 790 mm seat height

The available Easy Ride Clutch, offered through the Innovation Package, works alongside Shift Assistant Pro to allow riding and shifting without manually operating the clutch during normal use.

For the Canadian market, the BMW F 450 RR will be offered exclusively in its M Sport configuration, finished in Snaefell White with M Motorsport graphics.

The Canadian specification includes:

• M Motorsport colour scheme with white frame
• Riding Modes Pro with configurable Race Pro mode
• Shift Assistant Pro
• Adjustable Sport suspension
• Optional Easy Ride Clutch through the Innovation Package

This brings additional performance-focused equipment to the F 450 RR, making the M Sport the standard offering for Canadian riders.

Production of the BMW F 450 RR for the Canadian market is scheduled to begin in February 2027, with a starting MSRP of $9,645 CAD.
